As with CEMS code, the 2006 Amendments to the Air Monitoring Directive, 1989 (AMD 2006) require a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) be created and adhered to for all Air Monitoring operations. Subsequent auditing ensures that the plan is being followed and the system is working within required guidelines.
